Hotel & Meeting Logistics

The Assembly is May 27th and 28th, with the optional welcome dinner on May 26th and the optional Science Summit on May 29th. We are happy to provide additional hotel nights for complex/overnight travel for Assembly attendees. Directors wishing to attend the science summit may also request additional nights.

Optional Event - Science Summit

2020 marks the 75th anniversary of Science – The Endless Frontier, a prescient report from Vannevar Bush that was the guiding force for science and innovation in our country for decades. On May 29, the day after the Kavli Institute Assembly ends, there will be a day-long event reflecting on the next 75 years of science – both for our nation’s scientific research enterprise and research internationally. We invite Kavli Institute Directors to attend if their schedule permits.
